11/19/24 – For sale is a K98k made by JP Sauer & Sohn in 1942. The rifle is in great shape for its age and retains a fairly dark finish on the metal. The rifle retains roughly 80% of its original finish with minor finish loss on the receiver and bolt, and the barrel and barrel band have freckling of oxidation. The stock is in excellent shape with minor pressure marks and handling wear. The rifle has matching parts throughout from the stock down to the trigger. The bore is fairly bright with great rifling but it is darker towards the muzzle.
