10/18/24 – This is an original WW1 era P1914 Swiss rifle bayonet. The bayonet is in excellent condition with a 11.75 inch blade that’s maker stamped at the base. The blade is shiny with light handling and age wear. Minimal discoloration and a clean, unsharpened edge. The hand guard is Swiss proof stamped and numbered, “427392”. Nice wood handles are in excellent condition. Comes with an original scabbard that’s proof stamped on the toe/ball. Light finish loss, and a few minor dents. Fits the blade nicely and has an original leather tab hanger.
