6/14/19 – This is an excellent example of a Winchester M1 Carbine, made in the latter months of 1944.Low wood stock with sharp cartouche on right side of stock.W proof on barrel and in the sling well.Handguard is also W marked inside.Excellent parkerized finish on metal parts with correctly blued bolt.Stock is in great shape with only minor nicks and dings.Has adjustable rear sight and bayo lug – may have been made at the end of World War II and then never issued until the Korean War.Excellent bore.S-O marked magazine.
