2/16/24 – This is a rare and desirable M1 Carbine that was manufactured by Underwood but never issued.It has no serial number and no acceptance or inspection markings, and could be a factory prototype or a “lunch box special”.There is only minor finish loss to the metal parts but a general patina to the finish.The stock is in excellent condition and is marked LW-U in the sling well, which denotes Underwood manufacture.Mint bore.Original sling.
