5/28/20 – This is an original and correct Colt 1911A1 in terrific condition, with about 97% of the parkerized finish remaining.Serial dates this one to early 1944.The majority of finish loss is on the left side muzzle and frame edge, and a little bit on the rounded underside of the slide.Trigger guard has a small spot of wear, too.Original Colt barrel with mint bore and small ‘F’ under lug.’R’ proofed magazine.Excellent grips.Pistol has correct inspectors marks, including crossed cannons cartouche.
