Description
12/5/24 – For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in mid 1945. The rifle is clean overall but the receiver seems to have an almost sand-blasted light gray finish. The maker stamp on the receiver is faint. The barrel, gas cylinder, and triggerguard assembly are in the original parkerized finish. The stock and handguard are later replacements. The bore has a faint of brightness visible with worn rifling. The grooves are dark with minor pitting visible. The muzzle erosion rates an 11 and the throat erosion a 5. The barrel is stamped 10-54.
