5/6/20 – This is an originalexample of the hard-to-find Springfield Armory M1911.Made in either late 1914 or early 1915, this pistol features 70-80% original blue with notable patina throughout.There are also several minor areas of surface freckling.Flaming bomb on slide and frame.There were only ~30,000 of these produced from 1914-16.It has a Springfield barrel (S and P marked) with a minty bore.Correct Two-tone magazine with lanyard loop.Rare original Springfield grips.All small parts are original and correct Springfield, many marked with an S.Bore shows some use and rifling is a bit smoothed out.Pistol comes with a very nice US marked holster.
