12/5/23 – This is an excellent example of a S&W Model 1955 or pre-25, manufactured in 1957 and chambered in .45 Caliber. 6.5″ barrel. The high polish bluing rates about 95% with some muzzle wear, a roll mark on the cylinder, and some tiny micro-scratches here and there. Fitted with nice hand-checkered wood grips – tiny chip in the left panel. Near-mint bore.
