12/2/24 – This is a very good example of a 1940 production MP.40 magazine. The magazine is the early, more scarce “slab side” style. One side is “M.P. 38u.40” stamped. The spine is waffen proofed with “WaA815” stamps and “98E” maker stamped with a ’40’ date. The bluing is mostly intact. There is use wear on the sides, as well as, light pinpricking throughout. There are two light dents on both sides of the magazine, but these do not effect the magazines functionality. The spring is strong and fully functional.
