8/28/18 – This is an original Showa Enthronement Medal from 1928.This medal commemorates the event where Emperor Hirohito (the Showa Emperor) ascended to the throne upon the death of his father. The enthronement ceremonies were held in 1928. Those who participated in the ceremonies were given this medal. The ribbon is original and in tact, as is the medal. Both are in excellent condition. Guaranteed original.
