8/13/19 -This is one of the rarest Walther PPK variations from the World War II era.¬ It is a Railway Police -issued Walther PPK with RBD Munster (Westf.) inscription on the front strap.¬ This inscription stands for State Railway Directorate Munster in Westfalen, and the pistol was used in connection with railroad security.¬ It is estimated that only about 100 of this variation were produced, with only a fraction of that known to exist in collections today.¬ This pistol falls in the proper serial range for this variation.The pistol finish is all original with 98% high-polish blue remaining, as there is only minor muzzle wear on both sides of the slide.¬ Fantastic grip and finger extension magazine.Minty bore.¬¬I have the same variation in my collection which is a PP with the same inscription.Comparing the 2 the PPK inscription has a slightly smaller font than my PP.We are selling this gun on consignment from one of our customers.
