Description
12/3/24 – This is a minty example of a rare variation of the Ithaca Model 1911A1 from 1943. This one is stamped “M 1911 A1 US Army” on the right side of both the slide and frame. There are also matching flaming bomb ordnance inspection stamps on the inside of the frame and on the slide (under the firing pin retainer), indicating this gun is an original and correct example of this rare variation. Proper “HS” High Standard barrel. It has retained nearly all of its original finish with just hints of high edge wear and a few very light surface scuffs here and there. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one “S” marked magazine. Minty bore.
