9/20/23 – This is a nice example of an original prewar Colt Super .38 that was made in 1929, the first year of production.The pistol has a beautiful profile with only minor high edge wear, but a previous owner custom stipled the grip frame and there is finish loss all along the front strap as a result.Mint bore that hardly looks used.Excellent grips, though there is a gouge near the left panel’s upper screw.Original two-tone magazine.Slide is correctly matching numbered to the frame.
