Description
10/8/24 – This is a Krieghoff Luger issued to the Luftwaffe in 1937. The gun has the proper “Eagle L2” Krieghoff proofs throughout, but the barrel and whole toggle assembly are mismatched (all are Eagle L2 marked). The gun is in fairly rough condition. There is obvious spotty wear and splotchy discoloration throughout. The finish in some areas almost looks like a bluish-gray paint. Fitted with reddish bakelite Krieghoff grips. Comes with a later Mauser magazine that has a ground serial number. The bore has nice rifling with very light pin-pricking.
