3/23/20 – This is an original late WW2 variation P.38 magazine. The left side of the frame is stamped “P.38v U”. The U stands for unhardened metal which was a late-war manufacturing technique used to speed production. The spine is stamped with “E/359” upside down near the top.¬There ¬numbers “2466 j” are stamped on¬the bottom of the base that have been X’d out. The spring is excellent and fully functional. The original blued finish has minimal¬wear with no pitting or corrosion.¬
