1/14/20 – This is an original example of a nickel finish Smith & Wesson First Model Hand-EJector.Serial dates it to about 1912-1915.Barrel is 6.5 inches and chambered for .44 S&W Special.The original nickel rates at about 85% with the majority of wear or flaking on the cylinder, and a little more on the sides of the frame.Bore has good rifling but a few areas of pitting or pinpricking.Some case hardening can still be seem on hammer and trigger.Beautiful pearl grips.
