11/18/24 – For sale is a Field Grade double barrel shotgun made by LC Smith sometime between 1912 and 1950. This shotgun is in good overall condition with the barre retaining a nice dark blued finish. The metal has spots of oxidation and wear and the bluing is browning with age. The receiver has freckling of oxidation throughout and some of the case color finish is still visisbe. The stock and forestock are in great shape with no cracks or breaks but there are many ding marks. The bore is bright but there looks to be oxidation spotting or heavy carbon buildup when shining a light near the chamber.
