Description
5/11/20 – This is an original WW2 Nazi Social Welfare Dagger. The blade has no makers mark – none of the Red Cross or Social Welfare daggers were marked. Overall, the dagger is in excellent condition. On the blade, there are a few spots of minor discoloration and a few very light surface scratches near the end. It has a needle point with excellent cross-grain to polish. There a few minor blemishes to the nickle-silver fittings, but they’re hardly noticeable. No dents on the scabbard. The suspension on the scabbard distinguishes the two daggers – round holes for the Social Welfare dagger and rectangular slots for the Red Cross Leader hanger.
