8/27/19 – This is a near-mint Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 revolver, also referred to as a Highway Patrolman.It has a six inch barrel and retains 99% of the original high-polish blue.There is only minor muzzle wear on the barrel and a thin roll mark on the cylinder.Trigger and hammer show excellent case hardening.S-prefix serial dates the gun to the 1960s, so it should be C&R eligible.Beautiful grips without major issue.
