12/2/24 – For sale is a Izhevsk M38 Mosin Nagant Carbine made in 1943. This carbine had undergone the usual post war refurbishment seen on most Soviet Mosins. The metal has the dark Russian finish with minor oxidation freckling around the barrel. The rifle has matching numbers throughout with some numbers force matched during refurbishment. The stock is in great condition with minor flaking of the shellac. The stock is an M44 stock from refurb. The bore is bright with good rifling but is counterbored about 1.5 inches. There is an import mark on the bottom of the barrel.
