Description
9/23/20 – This is an International Harvester M1 Garand, manufactured around 1955. There is a RRAD marking on the stock, meaning it was reworked at the Red River Arsenal. Most of the metal parts look refinished and the markings on the barrel are faint and hard to make out. The gun is fully functional and the bore is shiny and excellent. The gas cylinder has no finish and areas of pitting. There is a “P” marking on the grip. The handguards and stock do not appear to match. There are are dings and scratches on the handguards throughout. There are a few small chips in the main stock, but otherwise excellent.
