Description
1/20/20 – This is an early German Ern Imperial Fighting / Boot¬Knife. This blade is an excellent example with no sharpening or abuse. Hilt is stamped “RASIERMESSER-FABRIK” and the Reverse “ERN WALD.RHEINL.” Proofed with a king’s head under a crown. Oak grip plates are in minty condition with very little use wear.¬Blade is in excellent condition. It retains it’s original shape and edge with no evidence of sharpening. Slight bend in the tip, but not very noticeable.¬Scabbard is black with a nice finish. Leather strap is in great shape with a functional snap. Measures 11-3/8″ long in scabbard. Knife measurements are a little over 10-3/4″ long. Blade is 5-3/4″ long
