8/21/19 – This is a nice example of an early Government Model Colt 1911, produced late in 1917.The original brush blue rates at 80-85% with a nice slide but notable thinning on the frame.There is also some surface freckling on both sides of the slide.Excellent grips and terrific bore.Two-tone magazine.Colt barrel with P proof on one side and boxed C on the other.
