Description
9/7/23 – This is a non-standard Rolling Block Rifle, manufactured by GG Weisman and featuring a 28″ octagonal barrel that was re-barreled for a large bore caliber. The rifle has retained roughly 50% of its finish, with a fine patina throughout. The action is mechanically sound. Wood furniture is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. The barrel is marked GG Weisman 1761 with a ÄúACM” Crest stamp. Bore has pronounced rifling, but shows signs of oxidation throughout. The caliber is unknown and will need a chamber cast to be determined. Antique, so no licensing required.
