Date Added: 8/8 – This is an all matching and original G date luger, except for the magazine which is period correct but numbered to a different gun.I would rate the finish at about 99%.Of course a gun this nice one first wonders if it has been restored.Close examination shows very small halos under the barrel on the serial number.Also a bright light reveals a fair amount of patina under the finish.Also when taken apart one can see the dirt and rust within the interior part of the gun.Straw also has the correct uneven wear that comes with age.Grips are not numbered but the diamonds are sharp and seem original to the gun.Overall, I have concluded that it is an excellent example of a 1935 Mauser Luger – G date.
