11/19/24 – This is a great example of a French M1886 Lebel bayonet made for WW1.The blade on this bayonet is in good condition but does have patina throughout, and a slight curve to the right. The blade has its original edges with no signs of sharpening. The handle on the bayonet is in good condition and is serial numbered “94197”. The mechanism for locking the bayonet to the rifle is still functional. The scabbard for this bayonet remains straight and has no dents. There are signs of oxidation on the scabbard, but nothing that impacts its function.
