Description
3/27/18 – This is a French caplock screw barrel muff pistol, manufactured B&Cie.¬ Chambered in .45 caliber, it is a smoothbore 1840’s hideout gun.¬ It has some engraving and a nice twist pattern on the barrel with excellent wood grip.¬ There’s a scalloped cap trap in the butt.¬ The bore shows use and age but no major corrosion.¬ It’s a smoothbore gun so there is no rifling to go bad.¬¬
