12/13/19 – This is probably the finest example we’ve ever encountered of a rare Walther P.38 variant.It is a commercial Mod. P38, one of only 1,800 produced.The pistol is all matching and original with 99% of the bluing remaining, showing just a minor hint of high edge wear.Further, it has a beautiful plum hue to the slide and frame, which is very popular with many of our customers.The front strap does have a casting flaw that is surprisingly common on these pistols.Minor bore and grips.Magazine is marked ‘jvd’ on body.Just an example that cannot be upgraded.
