10/17/22 – This is an exceptional military Smith & Wesson M1917 revolver, perhaps the finest we’ve offered.The polished blue rates at ~98% with minor barrel and cylinder wear, but very few notable flaws.The frame has sharp inspector mark and the barrel is stamped UNITED STATES PROPERTY.Beautiful case hardening is present on the hammer and trigger.Mint bore and grips.The right panel is correctly hand numbered and matching to the gun.
