10/17/22- This is an excellent Smith & Wesson Victory Model from World War II. It is U.S. Property marked and G.H.D (Guy H. Drewry) inspector marked. The original finish is about 97% with minor thinning from the holster and various scuff marks.Mint bore. Made from 1942 to 1944, with a production run of ~500,000.They were standard issued side arms for US Navy and Marine air crews due to their size and ease of operation.It is .38 S&W special.Comes with excellent, period original holster.
