8/6/19 – This is a fantastic example of a Nazi issued Mauser P.38, made in early 1945.This pistol has a ’44 dated slide but the serial block dates the gun to February/March of the next year, as ‘byf 44’ slides were still being used at that time.This pistol features the desirable dual-tone finish, with phosphate slide and frame, but blued barrel.The finish rates in the high 90s with only minor thinning of the front strap, and a hint of edge wear on the slide/muzzle.The bore is mint and the pistol has good mechanics, including the de-cocker.Excellent grips
