11/11/24 – This is an excellent example of aWW2 Hitler Youth knife made by Arthur Schuttlehoffer & Co.. This knife still retains most of it’s nickel plating finish over the steel hilt and is in overall excellent condition.The grip panels on this knife remain intact and are in excellent condition.The HJ insignia is also in excellent condition and has no cracks or loss in the enamel. The HJ insignia is a little loose, but is till firmly in the grip and is only able to move side to side slightly.The blade on this knife is in excellent condition and shows no signs ofsharpening.There is very minor shadowing on the blade, as well as some wear from standard scabbard use.The left side of the blade is RZM marked “M7/13” which is for Arthur Schuttlehoffer & Co.. This knife still has it’s original blade washer still intact. The scabbard on this knife is still in excellent condition retaining most of it’s black finish with thinning of the finish on the tip of the scabbard. The scabbard additionally still has its black leather carrying/retaining strap that is also in overall great condition.
