Description
12/12/19 – This is an excellent and original Colt M1911A1 rig, manufactured in 1944 and issued to the US Army.¬ The original finish rates at about 97% with minor muzzle wear and some finish loss where the slide meets the front of the frame.¬ There is also a small area of freckling on the right side of the slide, near the muzzle.¬ Beautiful straps and all correct inspector marks.¬ Colt marked barrel with small ‘F’ proof.¬ Bore shows good rifling but minor frost throughout.¬ Comes with an original Graton & Knight made holster, which is dated 1943.¬¬
