6/12/19 – This is an original and mint condition,¬1939¬dated German canteen from early¬WW2. The canteen comes with the original wool cover and leather harness. The harness has an aluminum cup attached, stamped “CFL 39”. Very small area of missing paint.¬The harness is also¬stamped¬”CFL 39″ with various internal ink stamps as the photos show.¬All stitching and buckles are secure.¬The canteen cap and neck¬is stamped “CFL 39”. There are no dents in the canteen and is very clean. The wool is excellent with ink stamps under the closure flap. This item appears un-issued.¬
