5/5/20 – This is a beautiful Remington Rand 1911A1 from 1945, with 97-98% of the original parkerized finish.There are tiny hints of high edge thinning on the slide, and a bit of thinning on the front strap.The pistol does have Ogden Arsenal proofs on the right side of the frame but we see no actual indication of refinish or re-work.Correct HS barrel with strong bore.Proper inspection proofs on frame and slide.Excellent grips.’S’ proofed magazine.
