6/14/23 – This is a beautiful example of a rare Police “Eagle L” marked BYF 44 Mauser P.38 that was issued to the German Police in 1944. There were only 4,600 of this variation produced, and 3,200 of that in 1944. All matching. Comes as a rig with an un-issued police holster and two Mauser magazines. The gun itself has retained essentially all of its finish with just very minor freckling on the firing pin cover. Excellent reddish bakelite grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
