6/12/20 – This is a terrific example of an Ithaca 1911A1 rig from late in 1943 that was part of the British Lend-Lease program as indicated by the proofs on the barrel and upper portion of the slide.The finish is excellent with a minty profile, but a little bit of thinning on the front strap and trigger guard, and just a small area of finish loss on the slide near the ejection port.Flannery barrel with strong bore.Minty grips.’L’ marked magazine.Comes with an excellent original holster that was produced by Craighead.
