5/1/20 -This is a beautiful example of an all original Colt M1911 that was manufactured in 1917 for the US Army.The original blue rates at about 96-97%, with minor thinning on the straps and a few hints of high edge wear.Terrific grips with sharp checkering.Proper inspector mark on left side frame, and correct Colt barrel with disconnected ‘P H’ markings.Early two-tone magazine.Strong, shiny bore.
