Description
4/26/24 – This is a very nice example of a Springfield M1 Garand. The serial number on the receiver dates to about 1955. Springfield-marked barrel dated March of 1955. There is a DOD proof mark on the barrel. The stock looks replaced. The metal parts have retained about 90% of their finish. Most of the wear is on the gas tube. Very nice wood stock with only minor bruises and scratches – rack number on the right side of the butt stock. Muzzle reading: 1. Throat reading: 0.
