10/2/19 – This is an all matching and original K98 that was manufactured in 1943 by Gustloff Werke for the German Army.The finish rates at around 90% with a very nice receiver but some notable thinning on the trigger grouping, and some patina/thinning on the barrel and bands.The stock has sharp Heer Army proof on the right side.It’s in very good shape but does have a thin surface crack behind the rear screw of the trigger housing.Bore is shiny with strong rifling but some frost throughout.Original sight hood present, but no sling or cleaning rod.
