10/27/17 – Here we have a 1942 manufactured Colt 1911A1, with original 1943 dated holster. The pistol is all original and correct with about 90% blue remaining. There are no particularly notable areas of finish loss, just thinning throughout the pistol. The slide is numbered and matching to the frame. Unmarked magazine. Proper inspector marks and acceptance proofs on the pistol. Excellent grips, holster and bore. Colt marked barrel with ‘G’ marked beneath the lug.
