8/12/19 – This is an original leather strap for a K98 rifle manufactured during¬WWII. Maker¬stamped “amj” and “41”¬on the rear of the keeper stud. Date stamped on the rear about 3″ from the clasp.¬The leather is excellent and completely in tact with no notable flaws. The leather retains about 95% of the original herringbone pattern. The buckle is un-marked.¬The stitching is all original as well without issues. Guaranteed original.¬
