11/25/24 – This is a good example of a 1940 dated Luger holster from WW2. The back leather is maker stamped, dated, and waffen military proof stamped. These stamps are light, but still legible.The back leather is also porous and appears that it might be made from pig leather. The back leather additionally has the name “Newman” scratched into the back.The leather has normal pliability and typical signs of aging such as some pressure marks and scuffs. The stitching on this holster is in good overall condition and is complete and strong.
