Description
5/26/20 – This is a beautiful 1939 dated K98 bayonet with a matching numbered scabbard and black leather frog. The blade is near mint condition with minimal bluing loss and some light discoloration. Serial numbered 8742 h and maker stamped by Carl Eickhorn on the reverse. The handle is waffen stamped on the button and upper pommel of the handle. The black leather frog is in great condition with no maker stamps or markings. The scabbard has no dents or major issues, but there is light surface scratching and finish loss accompanied by light discoloration / patina. The scabbard is matching serial numbered as well.
