Description
10/30/24 – This is a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. Proper “H P” Colt barrel. It comes as a rig with a 1917-dated Sears holster and one proper two-tone magazine (has lost most of its finish). There is a marking on the top flap of the holster that reads “HOT 7DIV 80”. The gun has lost most of its bluing with some finish remaining on the sides of the frame. Fitted with period-correct wood grips – blemishes and bruising on both sides. The bore shows surface oxidation and tiny pitting throughout.
