11/12/24 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. This particular gun has a correct “H P” Colt barrel that has been customized with a threaded barrel extension ( 0.617″ x 24G thread count). The gun has lost most of its original finish with obvious finish loss and noticeable spotty patina throughout. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. Very nice bore with great rifling.
