4/23/24 – This is a great condition 1893 Spanish Mauser. Many of the rifle’s metal parts have been covered in black paint, and the painted finish shows little wear throughout. overall finish rate of 85%. The bore is fairly pitted but does still have strong rifling grooves. We rate the bore a 6.5/10. the wood handguard and stock have almost no wear except a few small dings here and there. Action and trigger are fully functional, but the flag safety doesn’t appear to move. We think the caliber is 7x57mm, but if you intend to fire this rifle, you should have it looked over by a certified gunsmith. This rifle is an antique and ships straight to you.
