10/23/24 – This is a rare example of a WW2 Hensoldt & Wetzlar Ziel-Dialyt 2 3/4x scope. The body of this scope is in excellent condition with only minor thinning of the blued finish and a few minor scratches. The brass rings holding in the glass do have some loss of the black enamel paint. Theadjustment and focusing knobs still are functional on this scope. The scope is stamped on the rear eyepiece “Ziel-Dialyt 2 3/4 x” as well as serial numbered “Nr. 39684”.
