Original Item: Only One Available. This is a totally original authentic German WWII Wehrmacht Heer Army Camp Flag, measuring a modest 31″ x 22.5″. With no proper flagpoles, flags such as these were madereinforced short sides, and could be attached to pretty much anything in the field.It was captured in the field, and then looks to have been sent home as a souvenir of war, as indicated by the lovely writing in the corner:

The designis essentially a smaller version of the standard NSDAP party flag, with a large Swas(Hook Cross or Swas)in the center of a white circle on a red field. This examplelooks to be made of linen and cotton, the standard materials for flags of the period.
Condition is very good, with the expected age toning, and one small torn hole. The construction is multi-piece, with sewn on white circles on each side, so the flag displays correctly from either direction.
