11/20/24 – For sale is a Zastava M48/98 rebuilt in Yugoslavia after WW2. These rifles were German surrender or captured rifles that were used by the Yugoslav military and partisans. This example is well worn and has seen honest use. The finish on the metal is worn down to bare metal but there are no signs of heavy pitting / corrosion. The metal surface has spotting of oxidation throughout. The stock is in good condition overall with plenty of handling marks. There is a 1.5″ crack coming from the recoil lug on the left side. The rifle has matching numbers on the bolt and receiver. The bore is still somewhat bright with good rifling. This rifle will make for a good shooter grade K98k.
